"Korean Stars' Pulling Power" survey conducted by MaxMovie.

Korea's biggest free daily newspaper, The Daily Focus, is celebrating its 8th Anniversary, have incorporated with Korea's biggest movie ticket booking site, MaxMovie, to conduct a survey on "Which actor guarantees your ticket purchase?"

The survey was carried out from June 1st to 10th through questionnaire by email to those who have purchased movie tickets during that period. Of the 47781 respondents, 21406 are male and 26375 are female.

Song Kang-ho ranked first on the list and Won Bin at the second place.

Question: "If the actor is starring in this movie, I want to see it at the theater" / "Which actor guarantees your ticket purchase?"

1. Song Kang-ho 12.2% (5811)
2. Won Bin 7.7% (3666)
3. Hwang Jung-min 5.9% (2808)
4. Kim Yoon-seok 5.3% (2535)
5. Jo In-seong 5.1% (2418)
6. Ha Ji-won 4.7% (2262)

Average age of the Top 10 is 38. Five of them at their 30's (no. 2, 5, 6, 7 & 9), the other five at their 40's. Eldest one is Song Kang-ho (1967), youngest one is Son Ye-jin (1982). There are two actresses (no. 6 & 9).

For the result from the male respondents, no.1 to 4 are versatile actors in their 40's, while Won Bin is 6-10 years younger. Won Bin at no. 5 is very good in my opinions.

For the result from the female respondents, great to see Won Bin at no. 1.

Won Bin at no. 2 of the Pulling Power list is really not easy to achieve. It needs many years of hard work for the actors to get to the top 10. I am so proud of him and hope he can continue to be successful in his career.
